SAP adds New York’s Doomsday Mourning to ever growing roster

Stephen Anderson Publicity are delighted to welcome New York street metal five-piece Doomsday Mourning to our increasingly excellent roster.

Formed in Queens in 2009, Doomsday Mourning are at the forefront of the brutally thrilling sound we’re coming to expect from the streets of New York. Theirs is a sound that is straight to the point and piled high with attitude. Alongside lethal riffing, the downtuned guitars, thunderous bass and the dark, furiously fast vocals, Doomsday Mourning sprinkle their onslaught with some deft touches, searing melodies and pumping keys.

In 2010, the band independently released “The Science of Exploitation” EP, while debut single “The Catalyst of Suffering” was one of the most requested songs of 2010 on New York metro area’s 89.5 WSOU.

Doomsday Mourning have worked with a number of guest vocalist including Ronnie Canizaro (Born of Osiris), Phil Vibes (The Judas Syndrome), Gary Michel (From The Pawn) and Sean Murphy (Endwell) and have opened live for acts such as Norma Jean, Stick To Your Guns and Impending Doom.

January 2012 sees the release of a new Doomsday Mourning EP "Culture of Corruption", which will be followed later in the New Year with their “Predisposed” full length.

Doomsday Mourning are Danny, Jorge, Rob, Dennis, Ian.
